1. What is Beanstack?

Beanstack is a web-based program the West Fargo Public Library uses for reading challenges. You can track your reading minutes, write book reviews, and participate in activities to earn digital tickets and badges. You can also win real rewards donated by the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library and other local businesses by participating in certain challenges. 

2. How do I sign up for Beanstack?

Signing up for Beanstack is easy. 

1. Visit our Beanstack website westfargolibrary.beanstack.org. 

2. Click on "Register an Individual or Family." 

3. Fill in your info. Beanstack is awesome, because it allows families to be linked together. All family members can be accessed with one login. 

3. Is there a mobile app for Beanstack?

Yes! There is a Beanstack mobile app. Go to your device's app store and search for "Beanstack Tracker." Once you have the app downloaded, be sure to choose "West Fargo Public Library" so your tracking counts toward our challenges and rewards.

4. How do I log my minutes and activities on Beanstack?

Tracking your minutes and activities on Beanstack is easy. 

Instructions for Web Browser

1. Visit westfargolibrary.beanstack.org 

2. Click the "Log Reading and Activities" button in the upper left corner of the site.

3. Follow the prompts on the screen to log whatever you've accomplished. 

4. Earn badges, tickets, and/or prizes when you hit reading milestones or complete activities. Be sure to follow the instructions. Some accomplishments mean you get to visit the library service desk to pick up a prize. 

Instructions for Mobile App

1. Open the Beanstack Tracker app

2. Tap the blue plus sign then choose either "reading," "activity," or "review."

3. Follow the prompts on the screen to log whatever you've accomplished. 

4. Earn badges, tickets, and/or prizes when you hit reading milestones or complete activities. Be sure to follow the instructions. Some accomplishments mean you get to visit the library service desk to pick up a prize.
