Summer is finally here and in West Fargo - that means it's events season! 

Be sure to follow our partners at West Fargo Events and West Fargo Parks District for event schedules and tickets. Some events will also have associated street closures. All special event closures are posted on the City's Facebook Page and westfargond.gov. 

We also have an important reminder that West Fargo's Public Safety Sales Tax will go into effect on July 1, 2023. Sales Tax Permits Holders will be notified electronically with details this change. If you are not signed up for emails from the Office of the State Tax Commissioner, you can do so here. 

West Fargo Construction Update

The City of West Fargo will undergo a city-wide asphalt paving and concrete patching project throughout the summer. This will impact many locations throughout the City, with the first work beginning June 12. See the most current closure and detour map, as well as project updates at westfargostreets.com. You can also sign up for alerts to get all construction project and street closure updates. 

Downtown Master Plan

The City of West Fargo is creating a master plan for the downtown area and nearby neighborhoods. The goal of the master plan is to establish the downtown as a cultural center with a distinct look and feel. Through public involvement, the city will address key concerns to create a broadly supported plan for the future of downtown West Fargo.

Child Care Facility Improvement Grant

A second application period for Child Care Facility Improvement Grants is open now through June 19. These grants are designed to help West Fargo Child Care Providers improve capacity, safety, and maintain license requirements to help make care more accessible to families in our community.
