May is filled with dates to remember! Starting with Spring Clean Up Week May 1-5! Learn more about what will be collected during Spring Clean Up Week, and how to utilize drop off sites throughout West Fargo here.  

May 8-12 is International Economic Development Week! The mission of Economic Development programs every are to create jobs, advance career and business development opportunities and improve quality of life in a vibrant and business friendly community. 

Make sure you're following the City of West Fargo on Facebook to see more throughout the week about how we are attracting businesses and workforce and to see results of a new campaign created in partnership with West Fargo business Advertise Edge! 

We also have an important reminder that West Fargo's Public Safety Sales Tax will go into effect on July 1, 2023. Sales Tax Permits Holders will be notified electronically with details this change. If you are not signed up for emails from the Office of the State Tax Commissioner, you can do so here. 

Child Care Facility Improvement Grant

We received 27 applications in the first round of Child Care Facility Improvement Grants! Approval of grants is on the agenda for the first City Commission Meeting of May. 

The interest in the program has been incredible, and we're proud to help these child care centers improve their facilities to continue serve families in West Fargo while maintaining safe and fully licensed businesses.
