Friends of the West Fargo Public Library Book Sale this weekend (October 1 - 3, 2021)

The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library non-profit group is hosting a BOOK SALE this weekend at the West Fargo Public Library. Come browse their huge selection of books. All proceeds help support the library's many programs and services.

In celebration of the library's 50th Anniversary, the Friends are also collecting recipes for the first ever Friends of the Library Community Cookie Cookbook. Those who submit a recipe get a FREE book at the book sale! The group will publish the cookbook later this winter.

NEW: Technology Tutors Available at Library

This fall, our helpful and knowledgeable volunteers are standing by to help you with your technology questions! You can sign up for free one-on-one technology coaching by appointment at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4dafac2aa0f9ce9-technology
Beginning Oct. 12, 30-minute appointments are available:

Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon
Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m.
Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Volunteer technology tutors are available to assist with topics like: basic computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone skills; basic internet and browser skills; setting up email or social media accounts; learning how to use apps and websites; and streaming and downloading digital media. Book Bundles are back!

Book Bundles are just what they sound like - a bundle of 3 to 5 books based on a topic of your (or your child's) choosing! Readers of all ages can now check out a Book Bundle, just place a hold for one using the Book Bundle Request Form found at https://westfargolibrary.org/1066/Pickup-Holds. Looking for a bundle of movies? Check out our Binge Boxes, now available via our catalog at westfargolibrary.org or stop by and browse them on the lower level of the library.

Off-site programs & events

We at the West Fargo Public Library have had a blast bringing our programs and services outside of the library building to community events, local parks and more! We plan to keep it up and would love to see you out and about with us! Off-site book returns

Books checked out from the West Fargo Library can be returned off-site too! Bring your books when you visit the Little Red Reading Bus or drop them in one of our book drops, located at:

Main Location: 215 Third St. E., West Fargo
Cash Wise (inside): 755 33rd Ave. E., West Fargo*
Eagle Run Plaza: Corner of 32nd Ave. and Sheyenne in West Fargo, outside Edward Jones

*UPDATE: The library's vending machine service (located within Cash Wise) will end Oct. 15, but the Cash Wise book drop will remain.
