West Fargo Public Library to reopen Monday, July 13
The West Fargo Public Library will reopen to the public Monday, July 13.
The library’s modified hours will be - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursdays
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays
- Closed on Sundays until Labor Day weekend.
- From 10 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, the library is devoting one hour of time to accommodate seniors over the age of 65 or high-risk individuals. Other patrons are encouraged to wait until 11 a.m. to visit the library.
For the safety of patrons and staff, visitors are encouraged to wear a face covering at all times while inside the library, sanitize and/or wash your hands upon entry and during your visit, and practice social distancing. You may notice some changes in library services, such as sanitization stations throughout the library, new signage, floor markers and Plexiglas. There will also be limited seating and computers. We also encourage patrons to use the self-checkout machine when possible and book appointments for one-on-ones if needed. Curbside pickup will cease on Friday, July 10. Instead, you can place holds and pick up items from the designated area in the library. Curbside delivery via the Little Red Reading Bus will continue through July. Summer Reading Program activity kits can no longer be reserved in advance. Instead, they will be available to pick up while supplies last from a designated area in the library the Friday before each video premieres.

Now offering Book Bundle deliveries via Little Red Reading BusThe West Fargo Public Library is excited to partner with the Little Red Reading Bus of West Fargo this summer to offer curbside delivery of Book Bundles. Patrons are now able to place holds for bundles of children’s books to be delivered directly to their home with help from the Little Red Reading Bus.
At this time, only Book Bundles are available for curbside delivery. Book Bundles are bundles of children’s books grouped by theme. To reserve a Book Bundle, patrons must use the Book Bundle request form found at westfargolibrary.org. Within the form, patrons are able to choose the Little Red Reading Bus as their delivery option and provide a delivery address. Delivery addresses must be within the City of West Fargo or the West Fargo Public School District boundary.

Summer Reading Program ends Friday, July 31There is less than one month left to participate in this year's Summer Reading Program.
