Dr. Greg Carlson, associate professor of Communication Studies and Theatre Art at Concordia College will lead a lively conversation about the movie “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, as part of the Library’s Golden Age of Science Fiction movie series. Carlson’s session, which includes a viewing of the 80-minute movie, will take place on the second floor of the West Fargo Public Library, in Meeting Room One. Admission is free, however space is limited to the first 30 participants.

In addition to being a longtime educator, volunteer, and executive committee member of the Fargo Film Festival, Dr. Carlson is also a film editor at the High Plains Reader, where his movie reviews appear in print and online each week. In 2017, Carlson was awarded the Ted M. Larson Award. His knowledge, insight, and local involvement with the cinematic arts make him an engaging discussion leader for audiences with an interest in a variety of film genres.
