[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police Department responds to vehicle versus bicycle accident


On June 12, 2019 at 12:04 p.m., the West Fargo Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle versus bicycle accident at the intersection of 4th Ave E and 7th St E. A juvenile male was struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk of the intersection. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, the condition and extent of the injuries are unknown. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol was called in to assist in the crash investigation. The West Fargo Police Department is continuing to interview witnesses to the crash. 

The West Fargo Police Department would like to remind the driving public that summer school is in session, drivers should still be aware near school zones, and summer time bicycle and pedestrian traffic has increased.
