Around the World Event

The West Fargo Police Department invites the community to AROUND THE WORLD: A Celebration of Cultures 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in the POW/MIA Plaza (north side of 444 Sheyenne St. West Fargo, North Dakota).

“West Fargo is home to families from many backgrounds and cultures,” said West Fargo Police Department Cultural Liaison Officer Ryan Feltman. “We want to provide an opportunity for the community to gather, learn about their neighbors and have a great time together.”

Sponsored by the West Fargo Police Department and Microsoft, the event is free and open to the public. The event will feature food, music and entertainment from a diverse mix of nationalities and countries, including West Africa, Somalia, Liberia, Nepal, Germany, Hispanics of Latin America, Native American Buffalo River and the Philippines.

The event will also have a bouncy house, dunk tank with School Resource Officers, and other games for the children. In addition to the food samples from different cultures there will be free beef hotdogs and water.
