[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police Department responds to Main Avenue W. crash


At approximately 5:43 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, the West Fargo Police Department officers received a report of a suicidal female driving a vehicle in the area of Main Avenue and Fifth Street NW. A few minutes later, officers received a report of an accident in 2200 block of Main Avenue W. involving the same female and vehicle.

Witnesses saw the vehicle swerve in front of an eastbound semi and end up in the south ditch after the collision. Another vehicle behind the semi was struck by a tire coming from one of the other two vehicles involved.

One female was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured in the accident.

This incident remains under investigation and no further comment or information will be released at this time.
