Sheyenne Street under I-94 Bridges Temporarily Closed to all Traffic Due to Water Over the Road
Interstate ramps remain open for travel north and south of interchange in West Fargo
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) Fargo District would like motorists to be aware that there is water running over Sheyenne Street under the Interstate 94 (I-94) bridges. Crews have temporarily closed travel under the bridges to all north and south traffic on Sheyenne Street. The interstate ramps north and south of the interchange bridges remain open.

Surrounding the interchange these routes are available to motorists during the temporary weather related closure of Sheyenne Street:
- Exiting westbound I-94 traffic – only can travel north on Sheyenne Street
- Exiting eastbound I-94 traffic – only can travel south on Sheyenne Street
- Northbound Sheyenne Street traffic – only can use eastbound I-94 ramp
- Southbound Sheyenne Street traffic – only can use westbound I-94 ramp
Fluctuating rainfall levels make it difficult to predict when water will recede from the roadway.
The NDDOT encourages motorists to check road conditions before traveling. For updated road information, call 511 from any type of phone, use the ND Roads phone app, or go to the Travel Information Map on our website at www.dot.nd.gov.
