[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo to hold 2018 construction season open house April 19

The City of West Fargo invites the public to attend the 2018 construction season open house 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, in the Grand Foyer of West Fargo City Hall (800 Fourth Ave. E., West Fargo). The open house will provide residents with an opportunity to review construction plans for major projects planned for the City of West Fargo this construction season, as well as minor projects scheduled throughout the season.

Major projects that will be discussed include the Sheyenne Street reconstruction from 13th Avenue to 32nd Avenue, reconstruction of 13th Avenue E. from 17th Street E. to 12th Street E. and the completion of the Ninth Street E. and 13th Avenue E. intersection project. City staff and materials will be available to highlight each project’s road closures, detours and an overview of the construction schedule. Information will also be available on the projects’ costs and funding. All information will also be posted on WestFargoStreets.com following the open house.

To stay inform throughout construction season, residents are encouraged to create an account on www.westfargond.gov by clicking “Sign In” at the top of the home page to sign up for alerts regarding road construction throughout the season. Registered users are then able to visit http://westfargond.gov/list.aspx and select email or text message updates for “West Fargo Streets” alerts under the alert center. Residents can also sign up for alerts with information about bids, jobs, City of West Fargo news, City of West Fargo events and agendas. Additionally, residents can receive project updates by following @CityofWestFargo on Facebook and Twitter.

Attendees are encouraged to utilize the entrances on the east end of the building to enter the Grand Foyer. Parking is available on the north and south sides of the building.
