The West Fargo Public Library will continue to offer monthly English Conversation Circles this fall. The meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, allowing English language learners to practice speaking English in a casual environment. The goal is to help English language learners gain confidence in speaking and meet new friends.
“We have a substantial population of adults who are actively learning English in our community,” Adult and Patron Services Manager Kirsten Henagin said. “These gatherings aren’t formal classes but are a fun place for people to practice in a public setting with fellow learners.”
Attendees practice speaking and listening and grow their vocabulary through games and prompts during the one-hour sessions. The next event is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Meeting Room 1 at the West Fargo Public Library. Learn more at westfargolibrary.org.
