[ARCHIVED] Increased pedestrian traffic near Rivers Bend Park Saturday, Sept. 23 for special event

SPECIAL EVENT CLOSURE - Alzheimers Associations Walk to End Alzheimers (PNG)

Rivers Bend Park (2548 1st Street E.) and the intersection of Sheyenne Street and 32nd Avenue W. will experience an increase in pedestrian traffic from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. 

Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the event and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around event areas – check your speed, space and stress. Motorists are reminded to put down the distractions and yield for the increase in pedestrian traffic.

The Street and Event Closing Permit is requested through the City of West Fargo’s website. The application must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event.
