The West Fargo Public Library now offers formal reference services in-person and online.
Library staff are available from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays to help the public with library resources and databases, family history or other research projects, and to get personalized help choosing what to read next. Patrons can schedule 30-minute appointments for one-on-one assistance or request virtual assistance online. Walk-in help is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The library also offers technology tutoring, where the public can get one-on-one help with basic technology skills. Technology tutoring sessions will be held by appointment from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays.

Job Service North Dakota and Community Options, Inc. representatives also offer one-on-one assistance at the West Fargo Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. Walk-ins are welcome. Job Service ND staff offer job-seeking assistance, veteran services, information on training programs, resume-building assistance, limited unemployment insurance assistance, and migrant and seasonal farmworker services. Community Options staff offer a range of services dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals through personalized support. This support is focused on promoting individual choice, dignity, and respect across various aspects of life, such as meaningful employment, housing, relationships, and community involvement.
