A citywide concrete patching project will begin Thursday, Aug. 3. Work will take place at 14 sites throughout West Fargo with various disruptions to traffic, including lane reductions and full closures. All work is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 1, pending weather conditions. A map of all 14 sites is available at www.westfargostreets.com/1317/2023-City-Wide-Concrete-Patching. Traffic control measures will be in place to alert residents of upcoming closures or lane reductions as well as detours.
The duration of work in each area is dependent on the site’s size and location. Specific schedule updates will be provided when available on City of West Fargo social media and at www.westfargstreets.com.
These repairs are part of West Fargo’s pavement management plan to improve conditions and preserve the integrity of major roadways throughout the City. This maintenance is vital to maintaining a safe transportation network. This work is funded through capital improvement sales tax. There are no special assessments associated with this project.
Motorists may encounter delays during commute times and should adjust their travel plans. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
