At approximately 10:46 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, the West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to 1635 Westwood Court for a structure fire. When crews arrived on scene, heavy black smoke and flames were visible from the house. Crews began a transitional attack to knock down and contain the fire.
The house sustained heavy smoke and fire damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation with the cost of damages to be determined. Multiple residents will be displaced. There were no injuries to emergency personnel or residents. Crews remain on scene to monitor additional hot spots throughout the structure.
The West Fargo Fire Department was assisted by the West Fargo Police Department, Fargo Fire Department, Sanford Ambulance, Salvation Army and the Red Cross.
