The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library non-profit group is hosting a Used Book Sale this month to raise money for library services. The group will be selling books, DVDs, games and other educational items donated by the community from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 18 and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 19 at the West Fargo Public Library (215 3rd Street E., West Fargo.)
“We are excited to host our first book sale in quite some time,” Donelle Richmond, Friends of the WFPL Treasurer, said. “We have had success with book sales in the past. West Fargo loves to read and we have a great selection of materials to choose from thanks to the many donations we received from the community this winter.”
All proceeds from the sale help support the West Fargo Public Library’s hundreds of programs and services for all ages. In the past, the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library have contributed to the metro’s One Book, One Community program, donated prizes for the West Fargo Library’s all-ages Summer Boost reading program, helped with operating costs for the Little Red Reading Bus route, and various other library programs that support the greater West Fargo community.
