After officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled to the 1700 block of Main Avenue. The West Fargo Police Department utilized a pursuit intervention technique (PIT) on the suspect vehicle, safely ending the pursuit.
Aaron Charette, a 29-year-old male from Fargo, North Dakota, was identified as the driver. Bethany Morin, a 24-year-old female from Moorhead, Minnesota, was identified as the passenger. Charette faces multiple charges including fleeing, driving under suspension, reckless driving, possession of a concealed weapon and multiple arrest warrants for felony narcotic charges. Morin faces multiple charges including felony possession of methamphetamine, multiple outstanding felony warrants, and felony possession of a firearm. Additional charges are possible.
