A citywide concrete patching project will begin Monday, Sept. 26, 2022. Work will take place at 11 sites throughout West Fargo with various disruptions to traffic, including lane reductions and full closures. The start date of work in each area will vary and depends on the contractor’s schedule and crew availability. A map of all 11 sites and the most current schedule is available at www.westfargostreets.com/1282/Citywide-Concrete-Repair-Project
The number of days each area will take depends on the site’s size and location. This project will include time for concrete to cure, which means sections of the road will close to traffic and crews may not be on site while the concrete hardens. All work is scheduled for completion by Nov. 11. Signage and traffic control measures will be in place to alert residents of upcoming closures or lane reductions as well as detours.
These repairs are part of West Fargo’s pavement management plan to improve conditions and preserve the integrity of major roadways throughout the City. This maintenance is vital to maintaining a safe transportation network. This work is funded through capital improvement sales tax. There are no special assessments associated with this project.
Motorists may encounter delays during commute times and should adjust their travel plans. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
