[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Fire Department responds to Saturday morning apartment fire


At approximately 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27,  2022, the West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to 815 34th Ave. E. for a structure fire. When crews arrived on scene, active flames were visible from a vent located inside the hallway of the apartment building. Crews quickly knocked down and contained the fire within minutes of arrival.

The apartment building sustained minor damages. The cause of the fire is under investigation with the cost of damages to be determined. No emergency personnel or residents were injured. Two residents are displaced due to damages caused by the fire.

The West Fargo Fire Department was assisted by the Fargo Fire Department, West Fargo Police Department, Sanford Ambulance, Red Cross and Salvation Army.
