[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Fire Department responded to Monday structure fire

At approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, the West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to 3337 4th St E, Unit 2 in West Fargo for a report of a residential structure fire. When crews arrived on the scene, an active fire was discovered in the kitchen causing extensive damage to the first floor of the structure. 

The homeowner was home at the time and was safely evacuated. The homeowner will not be able to stay in the home tonight. The fire is believed to have started on the stovetop. An estimate of damages is not available at this time.

The West Fargo Police Department, Fargo Fire Department, and the Salvation Army assisted the West Fargo Fire Department at the scene. No emergency personnel were injured.
