[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Fire Department hosting awards ceremony June 11

The West Fargo Fire Department will host an awards ceremony Friday, June 11, at the City of West Fargo’s Essentia Health Plaza (300 32nd Ave. W.). The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. Parking is available in the City of West Fargo’s public parking ramp north of the plaza.

The ceremony will present firefighters with awards such as Distinguished Service, Years of Service, Lifesaving Award, Medal of Merit, Commendation Medal, Stork Award, Chief’s Medal and Employee of the Year. 

“This ceremony is an opportunity to award and recognize firefighters who went above and beyond their normal duties to protect life and safeguard property in West Fargo,” said Chief Dan Fuller. “I am proud of these men and women for their continued hard work and dedication.”

The ceremony will livestream on the West Fargo Fire Department’s Facebook page here and is open to the public.
