[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police arrest individual for Fleeing, Preventing Arrest and an outstanding Warrant

At approximately 3:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, West Fargo Police Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Fifth Street W. on a report of harassment. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that their neighbor, Quintin Bates, 21, from West Fargo, had been harassing them for a period of time. The victim said Bates threw an unknown substance on the door of the apartment and threatened them. 

As officers attempted to talk to Bates, he fled on foot. Officers were able to locate Bates in an adjacent apartment and were able to talk him into surrendering.  

Bates was arrested for Fleeing a Police Officer, Preventing Arrest and an outstanding Felony Warrant. There were no injuries. 

In all cases, defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
