[ARCHIVED] Thanksgiving garbage and recycling schedule

There will be no garbage or recycling collected in the City of West Fargo Thursday, Nov. 23, in observation of Thanksgiving. The West Fargo Public Library, police department lobby, city hall and public works department will also be closed.

Garbage regularly scheduled for Thursday collection will instead be picked up Friday, Nov. 24. The rest of the week’s garbage schedule will remain the same.

Recycling, which is collected by Waste Management, Inc., regularly scheduled for Thursday collection will instead be picked up Friday, Nov. 24. The recycling schedule will be delayed one day for the rest of the week, including Friday’s pick up Saturday.

The City of West Fargo will also be removing dumpsters from compost locations Monday, Nov. 20, for the winter. Residents can bring compost material to the Transfer Station during the winter.
