The City of West Fargo is closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, in observance of Labor Day. There is no garbage or recycling collection on that day. Monday and Tuesday garbage collection will occur Tuesday, Sept. 8. Recycling service is delayed by one day all week.

On Monday, Sept. 7, all municipal government buildings are also closed to the public, including City Hall, Public Library, Sanitation, Public Works and the Transfer Station. The West Fargo City Commission meeting, which regularly occurs the first Monday of the month, is rescheduled to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8. This meeting will include a 6 p.m. public hearing for the 2021 City of West Fargo budget, which is available at https://www.westfargond.gov/257/Finance. Public safety agencies are in full operation but the West Fargo Police and Fire Department buildings are closed.
