[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police Department responds to report of armed robbery

At 7:39 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, West Fargo police officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at Jimmy John’s at 749 23rd Ave. E. in West Fargo. The suspect entered the store and pointed a handgun at the employee demanding money. The staff member opened the safe and complied with the demands.

The suspect was described to officers as a light skinned African-American male, 5’ 6" tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and was wearing a black cloth face mask. The suspect left out the back door and got into a white vehicle and drove west bound into River’s Bend where he abandoned the vehicle.
