At approximately 10:22 a.m., Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, West Fargo Police Department officers responded to a vehicle driving recklessly on Main Avenue E. Officers located the vehicle and witnessed it driving erratically and through red stop lights on Main Avenue E.

When officers attempted to make a traffic stop the vehicle fled from officers. A short pursuit ensued and the driver pulled over in the 500 block of 15th Street W. The driver, Nicholas Olauson, age 33 from Fargo, surrendered without incident. He was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, and fleeing in a motor vehicle.
