All January Monday Matinees at the WF Library tell stories of famous musicians.

The theme for the West Fargo Public Library's January lineup of Monday Matinees is: Music on Screen. All events begin at 1:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public, but limited seating is available. Free popcorn is included. 

Jan. 9, 2023 - "Elvis" (2022, PG-13): A look at the life of the legendary rock and roll star, Elvis Presley. Warner Bros. Directed by Baz Luhrmann

Jan. 23, 2023 - "Rocketman" (2019, R): This biopic focuses on Elton John's early years and his meteoric rise to fame in the 1970s. It dwells on his relationships with his parents, his enduring partnership with lyricist Bernie Taupin, and his romantic relationship with his manager John Reid. Paramount Pictures.

Jan. 30, 2023 - "Respect" (2021, PG-13): Following the rise of Aretha Franklin's career from a young child singing in her father's church's choir to her international superstardom. "Respect" is the remarkable true story of the music icon's journey to find her voice and become the Queen of Soul. Universal Pictures.
