Real Thanksgiving Panel with Ojibwe and Lakota Elders

Hear about life experiences of Ojibwe and Lakota elders and the retelling of Thanksgiving from an Indigenous perspective during this panel and community conversation.

Christy Goulet, an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, will lead this panel of Ojibwe and Lakota Elders in discussion of their life experiences, diverse upbringings, a mix of history and contemporary living, and conversation about the retelling of Thanksgiving from an Indigenous perspective. This event is free and open to the public.
