On Wednesdays, kids ages 3 to 5 are invited to read, play and create with us during Ready to Read Storytime. During this one-hour storytime, children and caregivers participate in activities that reinforce early literacy skills through reading, playing and creating in a safe and encouraging space. Reading, singing, talking, writing and play are the focal points of these storytimes. These early literacy fundamentals encourage growth in language development, vocabulary, social skills and creativity which helps to foster a positive connection to independent reading and exploration of learning.
