Early Literacy Storytime (for Ages 3 to 5)
Wednesday, October 13, 2021
Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to this open, interactive storytime where we read, play and create together!
It's time for STORYTIME!
Early Literacy Storytimes at the West Fargo Public Library are open, interactive storytime sessions. During Early Literacy Storytime, children strengthen early literacy skills through reading, singing, talking, writing, playing, and creating. This storytime focuses on growing a child's language development, vocabulary, social skills, and creativity. Early Literacy Storytime also fosters a desire for independent reading and learning in children.
Storytimes are free and open to the public. Early Literacy Storytime is intended for children ages 3 to 5, but children of other ages are welcome to attend.
Children ages 2 and under are invited to Baby Boost Storytime on Fridays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Baby Boost Storytime is an opportunity for children and caregivers to interact and grow language and social skills. This storytime introduces babies, toddlers and their caregivers to books, rhymes, signs and play. Baby Boost Storytime also helps foster an emotional connection between each child and their caregiver. Children then associate that positive connection with literacy, reading and learning.
