The West Fargo Public Library is governed by a Board of Directors which is comprised of West Fargo residents appointed by the City Commission, and they meet monthly to discuss library planning, policy, and finances.

Cass County is currently classified at the Yellow/Moderate risk level for COVID-19. At this risk level, the public can view the West Fargo Public Library Board of Directors meeting live at the City of West Fargo's YouTube channel.
