The West Fargo Fire Department provides Basic Life Support services to the community.  Our firefighters are cross trained as Emergency Medical Techs. To provide these services and keep up with the call volume, each station has a designated Squad, which is a two person response unit stocked with medical supplies and equipment.  Engine Co 76 and Ladder Co 75 also carry the same array of medical supplies and equipment.  This allows the department to handle up to five medical calls for service at the same time.  

The department also provides emergency medical services to large planned events through the use of four specially equipped mountain bikes.  In teams of two, our firefighters provide quick response during events such as the West Fargo Cruise Nights, concerts on the POW/MIA Plaza, and West Fest.
