OPERATION WINTER HARVEST SUMMARY
Arrested conducted by the US Marshal High Plains Violent Offender Task Force and the Metro Street Crimes Unit 1 November to 16 December 2016
Operation Winter Harvest results:
Total Arrests: 26
Gun offenses: 12
Use of Explosives: 1
Gang Members/Associates: 13 (12 different gangs)
Federal Arrests: 5
Physical Arrests by HPFTF/SCU: 18
Arrests by Patrol/other agencies: 6
Some of those arrests include:
- A gang member arrested by a MN Fugitive Task Force in Virginia, MN based on lead from SCU.
- A suspect wanted by the Miami-Dade Police Department for a home invasion, kidnapping, and carjacking with a gun, was arrested in Minot by North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers based on information provided by the Marshals Service’s Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force.
- A subject wanted for felon in possession of a firearm, was arrested on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation by the HPFTF and Bureau of Indian Affairs police.
- A gang member wanted by Cass County for robbery was arrested by Barnes County Sheriff’s Office.
OPERATION WINTER HARVEST
Hector Otoniel Flores Hector Lieonel Flores
Hector Otoniel Flores ran from Moorhead and Fargo police in a stolen vehicle on two separate incidents. “Hector O.” was wanted for a MN DOC warrant for second degree murder. Information was developed that he was possibly staying with his brother Hector Lieonel Flores, who had a nationwide warrant for 2nd degree drug sales. Surveillance was established at an address in Moorhead where “Hector L” was observed. When the team approached, “Hector L” ran into the house and barricaded the door, initiating a lengthy SWAT callout on Halloween night. Hector O and Hector L were both in the residence and additional charges have been filed.
Tyquan LaShawn Presha
Presha was arrested in relation to a drive-by shooting in North Fargo last summer and has been charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
Cameron Alfred Desjarlais Jenna Lynn Schultz
Cameron Desjarlais was wanted for Probation Violation—Felon in Possession of a Firearm and other warrants for ND and SD. Intense investigative efforts by the SCU, HPFTF, BCI, Fargo PD Intel and Narcotics units determined that Desjarlais was at an address in South Fargo. Desjarlias was arrested along with Schultz (Schultz did not have an active warrant pursuant to Operation Winter Harvest) in possession of large amounts of methamphetamines, cash, and a stolen vehicle. Information from this arrest has created leads for additional criminal cases.
David Oney Hanna
Hanna was wanted for a AA Felony Delivery of Methamphetamines into a correctional facility and other drug paraphernalia warrants. He was located in Virginia, MN, and through coordination with the North Star Fugitive Task Force and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Hanna was taken into custody and faces additional charges in Minnesota.
