The Transcriptionist duties include typing dictated reports and interviews, prepare correspondence, proofreading, editing, filing, data entry and a host of other activities is inclusive in being a transcriptionist for your police department. Considerable knowledge is needed in both legal as well as medical terminology since many of our cases involve injuries and medical conditions.

The ability to communicate clearly with a host of various people in a wide range of settings is an absolute necessity.

The Transcriptionist staff is supervised by the Office Supervisor.
