Lieutenant Duane Sall began his career at the West Fargo Police Department in 1992 as a Patrol Officer and served for four years as a Sergeant before being promoted January 1, 2009 to the position of Lieutenant.  Lt. Sall is the first to fill this rank at the WFPD. 

Lt. Sall is a 2009 graduate of the 239th session of the FBI National Academy. 

Lt. Sall has been active as a Defensive Tactics Instructor, Firearms Instructor, and Field Training Officer (FTO). 

Sall is originally from Moorhead MN having graduated from Moorhead High School and continued his education at Moorhead Tech as well as being a graduate of UND Lake Region Law Enforcement Academy, Devils Lake, ND.  

His past experience as a police officer includes serving with the Grafton Police Department and he has been an officer with West Fargo Police since 1992.

Lt. Sall supervises all Patrol Sergeants and the Community Service Officer.
